The UK-Bulgarian predictive-analytics start-up Amygda Labs raises a Pre-Seed round led by BrightCap Ventures.
Amygda is using data and domain knowledge to build solutions for deep industrial problems. Historically, these have been left to equipment manufacturers to solve. Relying on the same party to both sell equipment and additional maintenance services has however led to inefficiencies in maintenance workflows and curbed innovation. Normalizing incentives across the value chain, Amygda acts as an independent partner to owners and operators.
Amygda’s team of experienced ex-Rolls-Royce and ex-Airbus professionals, led by Faizan Patankar, is leveraging high-frequency data and over 200 machine learning models to deliver actionable insights and remove surprises from industrial operations.
