BrightCap leads the Pre-Seed round of Tow4Tech, a U.S.-based software platform automating roadside assistance for mid- to heavy-duty commercial trucks.

We are proud to announce our latest investment and the first BrightCap-backed company with plans for Romanian substance. Tow4Tech is a U.S.-based software platform reimagining commercial fleet towing operations with intelligent dispatch and real-time geolocation.

Tow4Tech is building the infrastructure to replace outdated, manual-heavy dispatching workflows with a digital-first, automated system that delivers faster, more reliable roadside service to trucking fleets. From job assignment to invoicing, their platform streamlines every step of the towing process, bringing transparency and efficiency to a market that has seen little innovation in decades.

The company is led by Craig Schneider (CEO), a former institutional finance executive, and Ziv Gillat (CTO), a Silicon Valley veteran with multiple startup exits. The product is already live in a pilot with one of the largest U.S. fleets (250k+ trucks), with a national rollout planned for 2025.

Tow4Tech is also establishing a strong presence in Romania, where half of the company’s technical and operations team will be based. The Romanian office will lead core engineering, AI development, and customer support, tapping into Romania’s exceptional talent and innovation ecosystem.

This $1.5M pre-seed round is helping the company scale adoption across the United States and build a defensible infrastructure layer for the towing industry.
